COMPLETE MECHANICAL & COSMETIC REFIT – AS NEW- 2006

First of Trojan’s popular Euro-style International series, the 10 Meter Express was something of a breakthrough design when she was introduced in 1981.

-Boldly styled and featuring all-new modular construction, the “experts” had a field day with this boat, calling her too wide and too glitzy for the conservative American market. Nevertheless, she quickly captured the public’s imagination and soon became a marketing success.

-Hull construction is solid fiberglass, and she rides on a beamy DeltaConic hull with moderate transom dead rise.

-Below, the original, somewhat gaudy interior was toned down in later years, but her Mediterranean styling, curved bulkheads, and distinctive decor were soon copied by other manufacturers.

-Notable features include electrically operated sliding doors to the head and forward cabin, a big bi-level cockpit with an offset companionway, teak covering boards, side-dumping exhausts, and a curved cockpit windshield.

-Engine access is good compared with other express boats this size. 2006 Yanmar 315hp Diesel engines cruise the Trojan 10 Meter at 19–20 knots with a top speed of around 28 knots.
